Verdict
Sweet Origin represents a yard with a good record here but MY MANIKATO and Tariq Too have achieved more and preference is for Luca Cumani's runner. It would be wrong to judge My Manikato's debut run solely through the 99 rated winner Nurture but the second and third have both run well since and it was a perfectly respectable racecourse bow. He did hang a little that day which may have been down to his inexperience and normal improvement should see him go close. Marco Botti has a near one in four strike rate with his three year olds at the track and Sweet Origin showed promise at Wolverhampton when six lengths behind a more experienced and useful rival; he's feared most. Tariq Too should appreciate this longer trip and has done enough to think that he'll take a hand in the finish whilst the very well bred pair of Herculean and Personified would have to be of interest at this level if attracting support but My Manikato's experience wins him the vote.
