A tricky maiden to judge but CORRES has fitness on his side after some encouraging runs so gets our narrow verdict while Zenarinda will hold claims if training on this season and Aspro Mavro sets the standard from a yard in form. The pick has been progressive in three starts so far with the latest coming on similar ground at Doncaster last week. Given that he should improve again and doesn't have to find much to score here he gets the call with that edge of fitness. Zenarinda also mildly improved in a couple of runs both coming last season. She should improve again and the form from those starts looks encouraging but we will wait and see if she has trained on well this year. Aspro Marvo is from the on-form John Gosden yard and will also be sharp for this after his own run also at Doncaster last week. The form looks good from that race but he might just be vulnerable to an improver. Zakeeta looks the most interesting newcomer and has enough in her family tree to suggest a good first showing but Corres has experience and looks progressive.
