GUYDUS is given the narrow vote to land this competitive opener at the expense of Hi Dancer and Another Miracle. The selection is eight pounds higher since landing the odds at Southwell last time out. He is still only lightly raced and there is still definite room for improvement and with luck in running he is sure to close once again. Hi Dancer is only four pounds higher after winning at Newcastle last month. He was good enough to win off a mark of 113 two seasons ago and still has the potential to run another good race off his current mark. Another Miracle is still only lightly raced and is open to further improvement. He was a course and distance winner on his penultimate outing and was not discredited after finishing third off a ten pound higher mark at Wincanton last time out so warrants respect. This is a tricky race to call but Guydus has more ticks in his boxes compared to the majority of his rivals and gains the narrow vote.
