LUIJANA has been in fine form on the sand at Southwell this winter and can continue in her winning ways at the expense of Kheley and La Capriosa. The selection has won three times this year already and although she has risen in the weights as a consequence she is now running against her own sex which is sure to go in her favour. Even though she favours an all weather surface she has won on the turf albeit on a fast surface and if translating her recent form she is sure to run well. Kheley has not been successful since last January but has been unlucky not to have added to her winning tally since then. She was not discredited in a handicap at Wolverhampton last month and with luck in running she can enter the frame once again. La Capriosa enters the race with a six pound penalty which is going to make life tough. That said she has winning form on a soft surface and with rain forecast she has to be respected. This looks a competitive race to open the card with and Luijana can hopefully get punters off to a wining start.
