WIND STAR is unlikely to be of much value to the majority of punters but if coming back to his best after a lengthy absence he should prove difficult to beat, while both Montiboli and Musigny are worthy of mention. The selection is rated far superior to any of his rivals with a current rating of 88. His connections must be keen to gain another victory for this Piccolo seven year old and if anywhere near his best he ought to win this seller with his head in his chest. Montiboli landed back to back handicaps at Ripon last July and also has form on a soft surface which will be in his favour. His recent form however has not been great and for that season he has to be treated with some caution. Musigny continued to improve throughout last season and showed his best form late on after finishing second in two consecutive races at Yarmouth. He has had the winter to mature and it will be interesting to see how popular he is in the betting ring. To see a horse rated as high as Wind Star in a seller suggests he has some issues but even with that in mind he is difficult to oppose.
