Chaninbar must be of interest now returned to hurdles however his profile is a tad scratchy so we will side with one of Allison Thorpe's, namely Ellerslie Tom. Paddy Brennan takes the ride on Ellerslie Tom who comes here on the back of a good second at Perth behind Premier Dane. His new jockey won on him over hurdles earlier in his career and he can gain his first chase win today. Stablemate Dishdasha wasn't as good over hurdles but he has shown that he should be winning over fences, whilst Caliban has only had one start over fences but his hurdles and flat form leaves something to be desired. A few recent wins for Chaninbar over hurdles may have boosted his confidence so Milton Harris' gelding needs respect, despite a 7lb penalty. Risk Challenge and Tirailleur look to be just making up the numbers, and so we will return to Ellerslie Tom as the selection.
