Runaround Sue's recent form stacks up well and she gets the nomination accordingly; Le Beau Bai joins Duggans Forge on the shortlist. A recent course and distance winner, the selection was well clear with the runner-up Watching Football. He was touted and was a strong favourite and the selection's previous fourth to subsequent winner Apollo Creed stands out in this company. Keith Goldsworthy always seems to have his horses ready to do justice and his former point-to-pointer Duggans Forge needs respect, along with Hands Free who was also decent in that sphere but hasn't reproduced it on the track as of yet. Le Beau Bai has disappointed on two recent runs, and his penalty makes life tough, so a more interesting contender could be Wise Men Say who had some decent bumper form and hasn't been rushed along. A good opportunity it seems for Runaround Sue, partnered by Tony McCoy, to win again.
