Desperate Dan appears to be better at the minimum trip and so our nomination goes to Minaash ahead of Nusoor. David Simcock's charge ran well here over seven furlongs three starts back before tiring late on. He then successfully dropped back to six furlongs at Kempton and comes here with a 4lb rise in the weights and hoping to follow up. A good draw today means that he gets our vote to win again. Nusoor is just one of many course and distance winners in the lineup and warrants respect, whilst both Tous Les Deux and Carcinetto are both consistent and should again run their races. Stablemate of the latter, Rainbow Bay, is better than the bare form of late, whilst Methaaly has a 1 in 4 strike-rate and should be feared. At a price Sweet Pickle could bounce back to form, however it is Minaash who gets the nomination.
