DOWNHILL SKIER can glide to victory in the finale at the main expense of Dancing Duo and Loyal Royal. The selection broke his maiden tag at the 10th time of asking at Kempton earlier in the month when he beat Duke Of Milan. That was only his second run for his current trainer so there could be more to come and with a decent apprentice booked he looks the percentage call. Dancing Duo put in an improved effort at Kempton last time when she was only narrowly beaten behind Highly Regal. That run in isolation would give her a real chance, but she is on a 24-race losing run so it is hard to be too enthusiastic about her chance. Loyal Royal does at least boast a decent level of consistency and this 6-year-old has been threatening to win a race for a while. Stargazy won well last time and his pilot Holly Hall can clearly get a good tune out of him. A tough race to close the card and narrow preference is for Downhill Skier.
