        Verdict

        PLUSH looks the one to be with in this handicap; the list of dangers is headed by Watson's Bay and Kingsholm. Tom Dascombe's 6-year-old was only narrowly beaten last time out by Hyde Lea Flyer who has since gone on to advertise the form. He looks progressive and he stands out as the one to beat. Watson's Bay won a maiden in decent style here last time but he is not the most consistent and he is not one to be placing maximum faith in. Kingsholm was up in grade and up in the weights when last seen out Southwell and Noel Wilson's 7-year-old could only plug-on in third behind Silver Hotspur. This step-up in trip is not sure to suit and he looks best watched today. Star Strider went close here two starts ago but he failed to build on that at Lingfield last time. Plush looks the safest option here and he should prove tough to stop.
