AAHAYGIRL can land this maiden at the main expense of Pearl of Manacor and Chief Wild Cat. This 3-year-old filly was well beaten at the Curragh last time but it was a very competitive event and the fact that she was aimed at that race in the first place surely has to be taken as a positive sign. The drop back to 6f will suit and she looks the one to beat. Pearl of Manacor has the plum draw and this colt shaped with plenty of promise in two races at Newbury in the summer. He is returning from a break here but he is unexposed and he has to be on any shortlist. Chief Wild Cat is an interesting contender from Ireland and if the market were to speak in his favour then he could be of interest. Tom Dascombe's One Cool Mission has a good draw and is another to consider, but for the winner we will stick with Aahhaygirl.
