In depth

Verdict

MY SWEET GEORGIA can defy a penalty to make it back-to-back successes; her chief rivals would appear to be Rigged and Sakheart. The selection has not won as often as she should have done for a horse with her ability but she scored nicely enough at Southwell last time in the first-time blinkers. She doesn't have the headgear on today but she is a nice horse and she looks worth sticking with. Rigged put in an improved effort here last time in what was his handicap and all-weather debut. It was also his first outing since September so he is certainly entitled to plenty of respect. Sakheart is making her handicap debut and she is worth considering as she has shaped as though she has ability in each of her two runs in maiden company. Hawkspring ran a shocker last time and is hard to recommend on the back of that effort. We will therefore stick with My Sweet Georgia as the choice.
