The Princess Haya Of Jordan owned and unraced colt DEBUSSY seems the one to beat in this maiden full of inexperinced animals with fellow debutants Rosika and Leceile also in with chances. The John Gosden trained two-year-old is the first foal of a very useful Dam, who was a winner over a mile and a furlong in a short career. Also in his lineage is Belmez a winner of the King George VI and Queen Elizabeth Diamond Stakes. If the breeding will out then Debussy should be too good for this class of contest. Sir Michael Stoute's filly, Rosika, is also given a claim on breeding. Seven winners in her family mostly in and around this distance and her relations include dual Group One winner Notnowcato. It will be interesting to see how the market reacts to these two rivals and that, on the night, might be the best indicator. Leceile could also feature for handler Willie Haggas. Group winners in her family too but her breeding, on paper at least, isn't quite as impressive. The draw is also against this one and that could be the telling factor. Of those that have raced Integria looks to have a good chance to spoil the party after building on a solid debut to place last time over this distance. A first tilt on the artificial surface shouldn't be a problem but selection Debussy and rival Roskita should be too good.
