In this wide open affair that opens things up at Bangor Ferdy Murphy's MONGORNO gets our selection but only just with Great Tsar and Ping Pong Sivola given chances. Although the last mentioned will have to concede weight to her rivals in conditions that could represent more of a ploughed field than a race course she has decent form on testing ground after landing a similar contest in March. She is definitely in with a shout here but with this race representing her seasonal debut fitness could be a worry under this mark. Great Tsar has already raced twice this season but looked a little novicey as he continued to jump left on his last outing but stayed on really well to claim second place behind High Jack. That form as been franked with the winner going on to score again but the doubt is whether he'll act on this ground. Mongorno is likely to improve from his first outing of the season where he wasn't disgraced when third of 12 at Carlisle. Fitness let him down on that venture but it's the trainer¿s cold form that is of most concern. That aside the ground shouldn't bother this five-year-old and is a tentative pick.
