It is hard to look past MOUNTAIN CAT in this handicap and he gets the vote over Just Bond and Ours. The selection is a course and distance winner and he arrives here on the back of a good run at Hamilton last time when he chased home Marvo. He has won four of his eight starts on the all-weather so he has an admirable strike-rate and from a good draw he is taken to go in again. Just Bond is another who has got form over the course and distance but he was a little disappointing over a mile at Redcar last time and he has been well beaten on each of his last four runs here. Tanto Faz could be of interest as this is much easier than the handicap he contested at Sandown back in July. This is only his ninth run so there could be more to come and he would have definite claims on the pick of his form. Clientele has the plum draw and Mark Johnston's 3-year-old chased home Broad Cairn at Warwick last month. However, the form took a knock on Wednesday at Doncaster when Broad Cairn was a beaten favourite. Mountain Cat ticks plenty of boxes and he gets the vote.
