    Verdict

Morgans Choice is the highest rated of the trio to have an official mark, but may have to wait a little longer to break his duck, as we prefer the claims of EMMA JEAN LASS. Any support for the one newcomer, Eve Johnson Houghton's Hounds Ditch should be taken note of as well. Emma Jean Lass returns to maiden company after finishing well down the field in a nursery last time out; she's the most exposed, and her career best was prior to that when runner up in a Bath maiden. The step down from six to five furlongs looks a positive move though. Morgans Choice is a likely front runner, and was looking set for victory last time out when he found little when coming under pressure at Bath. Hounds Ditch could be absolutely anything; he doesn't have any fancy entries and didn't cost much, but the market can give us some clues. However, we think today's the day, at the sixth time of asking, for Emma Jane Lass.
