Nothing leaps off the page here but at least PRIMO DILETTANTE comes here in good form and he gets the nod over fellow recent winner Picot De Say. William Knight has his horses in good form and the selection emphasised that with a recent success at Lingfield. He was taking advantage of a lenient mark there but this 6lb penalty may not be enough to stop another bold show and the ground here should be ideal. Picot De Say was a ready winner on very testing ground at Chepstow last time out; Craig Roberts is another trainer who has had a winner of late and this adaptable gelding is tough as teak but he is not the biggest to be carrying weight. Mr Plod needs to improve for the application of a visor, Mystic Touch gets a nice weight allowance as a three-year-old but he has stamina to prove, whilst BA Dreamflight ahs been holding his form fairly well of late and now looks attractively handicapped. At a price recent selling hurdle winner Bolton Hall may give a bold show, however the tentative vote lies with top-weight Primo Dilettante.
