There is not a great deal of quality in the opener on the card and what can only be a tentative vote goes to George Margarson's IMAGINARY DIVA, who has been running consistently well of late, and he can take advantage of being dropped 2lbs since his last run, getting the verdict ahead of Avrilo and Rainy Night. Reg Hollinshead's gelding has run better in Bath maidens in his last two starts and has been given a chance by the handicapper to open his account having been dropped to a career low mark. James Given's Zelos Girl has shown signs of improvement of late and has to be considered along with Red Cell, who has been running better on turf of late and should not be inconvenienced by the return to the Polytrack having won at Lingfield in January. Avrilo has been running consistently well recently and although remaining a maiden she has solid claims having been dropped 2lbs since her latest start in a maiden at Lingfield. Preference though is for Imaginary Diva, who looks to have been given a real chance by the handicapper and she looks the one to be on.
