Best One has a good pitch in stall two and comes here in form after scoring at Kempton last week, but with a penalty to shoulder we will take him on with READ THE SCRIPT. Tom Dascombe's runner was a beaten favourite over course and distance last week, when hanging down the home straight did not help his cause. However, that will have ensured that any cobwebs were well and truly blown off after a 15-month absence, and now that he is proven over track and trip we will give him another chance from a very handy mark. Best One has been nearer last than first on all three previous tries here and perhaps just prefers the quicker surfaces at Lingfield and Kempton. John Harris-trained Union Jack Jackson will find this tougher than the claimer in which he was successful at Beverley in August, and Mansii, who finished just ahead of the selection last week, and reopposes on the same terms, should be much more of a threat, though consistency is not his strong suit. Mister Jingles is worth another try at the track and went close at Ayr last time, although he does like it firm on turf and this will ride a fair bit slower than that, so conditions may scupper his chance. Read The Script can play the lead role.
