An interesting maiden where it may be wise to side with the Godolphin inmate PSYCHIC ABILITY, while fellow newcomer Hail Bold Chief is respected, as are King's Parade and Music Maestro. The latter pair have both had two runs each so far, with King's Parade disappointing when a beaten favourite at Warwick last time after a promising Leicester introduction. The step up in trip should suit him and he is not dismissed lightly. Music Maestro was a Thirsk maiden runner-up last month, when also failing to justify pole position in the market, though his colours took some lowering that day and he looks a very solid option. However, both may be vulnerable again tonight. Like King's Parade, Hail Bold Chief is also by Dynaformer, whose progeny do well on artificial surfaces and although not expensive he is related to winners at around this trip. Alan Swinbank pulled off a gamble with one of similar profile here a couple of weeks ago and market support would be significant. Passionate Cry made a quiet debut at Kempton, but represents a yard going well and should improve for both the run and the extra furlong here, but we prefer the claims of Psychic Ability. The fact that Saeed Bin Suroor sends him to Dunstall Park first time up is perhaps a nod that he is not the hottest of Godolphin properties. However, they have enjoyed such a superb strike rate with first-time juveniles this year, that it is highly likely that the 200,000 guineas Kingmambo colt, who is related to plenty of US dirt winners, will be up to the this task.
