Verdict

Living It Large is in a purple patch at the moment but given his massive weight hike he may be denied his hat-trick by the progressive nursery debutante DESERT POPPY while Quaker Parrot looks best of the rest. Having improved in her first two starts the selection got off the mark with a late run at Kempton last time. She should get the race run to suit and looks fairly treated on her first foray into these ranks. Living It Large set up this hat-trick bid with a cosy win over course and distance last time. The second place horse from the race has advertised the form well but with 11lbs extra to carry here he might just fall short this time. Quaker Parrot has found just one too good on each of his last two starts and won't have been helped by his four pounds mark rise on his all-weather debut and Six Wives ran well in defeat last time and is only a pound heavier here. This looks a pretty decent contest that can go the way of the improving Desert Poppy.
