ORIENTAL SCOT caught the eye on debut and should be all the better for that experience; he may have most to fear from Judiciary and Comradeship. There's little to choose between the last pair on the book and they set the standard here and both look to have realistic claims of taking this prize. Saeed bin Suroor is finishing the season strongly and has a good record at the track so it would be no surprise to see Judiciary bounce back from a modest run at Newmarket. Comradeship has had more opportunities but may improve for the fitting of blinkers whilst John Gosden's juveniles have to be feared given that he's three winners from just four runners in that sphere at the track in recent times. Con Artist can't be ignored on debut but a chance is taken that Oriental Scot can improve on the form of his promising debut. He was well supported at Doncaster despite the yard having only sent out one juvenile winner all season. He looked in trouble for most of the race but finished strongly once the penny dropped and Oriental Scot should be sharper this time around.
