TERTIARY is taken to maintain his unbeaten record at the main expense of Agony And Ecstasy and Tres Coronas. It may only have been a Brighton maiden that the unbeaten son of Singspiel took by a head but he was value for more than the winning margin and it did appear to be an above average race for the track. Only one of those in behind has run subsequently so it's hard to be dogmatic about the worth of the form but it's reasonable to expect improvement. Agony And Ecstasy wears headgear for the first time despite having battled on fairly well to score for the second time this season. She's 4lbs higher and making her debut at the track but could improve for the cheekpieces and her breeding offers hope that she'll be effective here. Tres Coronas is another who sports headgear for the first time and he should be competitive from this mark in this company if the blinkers have a positive effect. All three trainers of the above have good records at the track but so too do Mark Tompkins and Sylvester Kirk with four winners apiece from ten and nine runners respectively. The Newmarket handler's team have been going well and he's scored with similar types to Cornish Beau recently so he's well worth noting whilst High On A Hill ran the best race of his career on his latest outing and could fare even better now handicapping. Stef And Stelio has made the frame on both visits here but will need to improve for the fitting of cheekpieces if he's to get his head in front again as we look to Tertiary to lead them home.
