Nawamees is just the sort who could go well in this sort of contest with Wing Diva accompanying him on the short-list but ready preference is for WABBRAAN. Martin Hill's gelding ran out an impressive winner on his only previous visit to the track back in March. He failed to build on that course and distance success but that has seen his mark drop and he's now just 5lbs higher and a return to this venue could see him in a better light. Wing Diva has run well on all three visits to the track although she has looked a little onepaced so it's no surprise to see her tackling an extra furlong but not even that may be sufficient to see her open her account. Nawamees knows his way round and is still capable of putting up a bold show, Maslak can be given a chance if a poor run can be forgiven as would Resplendent Ace if he can translate his polytrack form but Wabbraan has proven form at this venue, isn't too badly treated and is preferred.
