In depth

Verdict

ANGIE'S NAP may be the best option in a race where four of the field wear some form of headgear for the first time. One of that quartet, Yeadon, is feared most with another, Point To Prove, perhaps best of the remainder. Headgear has certainly worked wonders for Angie's Nap who took her course record to two wins from four starts at the end of last month and she boasts the same record in cheekpieces. She only failed to get the better of Watch Chain by a quarter of a length over course and distance in August but meets that rival on significantly better terms and looks equally effective at the minimum. Yeadon has run a number of solid races, including over course and distance, and looks sure to have a say in the outcome whilst Point To Prove was well supported last time and may benefit from the switch to this surface. The Two G's has claims on the form of her penultimate outing but has a bit to prove after a poor run last time so it's easy enough to overlook her in favour of Angie's Nap.
