Our short-listed three are Lunar River, Garden Party and Queen Noverre, with the selection being Garden Party. Naturally enough, Jamie Spencer being booked for the lightly-raced Sir Michael Stoute entry Garden Party catches the eye. The market should tell us more about the well-bred son of Green Desert. Lunar River won over 10 furlongs at Lingfield in May from today's mark and, given that she seemed to be running back into a bit of form last time, she cannot be ruled out of a good run. Neither can Queen Noverre who, interestingly, has cheekpieces fitted for the first time as she steps up to today's trip for the first time. You get the impression that a good run is hoped for. Of the others, Tizzy May has dropped to two pounds below a winning Turf mark but this is only his second run on the all-weather. All of which returns us to the selection, which is Garden Party.
