        Verdict

        Orchestrator is selected here ahead of Pont Wood and, possibly, Bathwick Leti. Orchestrator looks to hold leading claims based on his second to the 78-rated Spriggan over seven furlongs last time out. A keen-going type, the drop to this trip could further help the cause today and he is the one the others have to aim at. Call Me Rosy has shown some promise, including over course and distance, and is one to consider. On her best pieces of overall form - bearing in mind that this is a modest event - Darling Belinda cannot be ruled out and Diksie Dancer is another to have shown some ability. Finally, Pont Wood could be given a chance based on his three all-weather runs between November 2006 and January 2007 - his two runs since have been on Turf, Bathwick Leti's debut run was not without promise and her chance too should not be dismissed, while White's Ruby cost 50,000 guineas and improved on her second run so could have better to come again. The selection, though, is Orchestrator.
