Menadha probably found the ground too testing on his nursery debut at Salisbury recently and Mick Channon's gelding may be worth another chance, getting the vote ahead of Coffee Cup and Charlotti Carlotti. The last mentioned is a consistent performer over sprint trips but may do even better now stepped up in distance being by stamina influence Celtic Swing so has to be respected. Mark Johnston's Suzi Spends disappointed last time but may do better now running in this grade, while Jim Goldie's Willyn has more to do than when successful in a Thirsk claimer two starts ago. Kevin Ryan's Kinout is probably better than he showed on the all-weather last time and should do better over this longer trip, although more solid claims are probably held by Alan Swinbank's recent Thirsk selling winner Coffee Cup. Menadha has created a favourable impression prior to his disappointing effort under testing conditions last time though and looks worth another chance here.
