        Verdict

        It will be interesting to see how the newcomers performer here, especially Anne Duffield's Yankee Bravo and Brian Smart's Kyllachy filly Kyllis who is particularly bred for speed but preference is for the proven form of Upstanding. The selection is becoming expensive to follow after seven career starts but has shown a respectable level of form and a reproduction of the pick of it would probably suffice for the daughter of Acclamation. Just Sam showed improved form for his debut effort when a creditable fifth at Thirsk last time and has to be respected. Eternal Optimist has shown only a modicum of ability so far and you would need to share her name if backing Chris Thornton's filly. This is not a race that should take a great deal of winning and, unless the newcomers are anything out of the ordinary, it should go to Upstanding.
