Verdict

Satwa Star is interesting down the bottom of the weights, however it is the joint top-weight HELIEORBEA who is fancied to follow up his recent Hamilton success. That was no great race however it was hard not to be impressed with the way that the selection battled down to win comfortably, having looked in trouble some way out. He has a mark of 75 for this handicap bow which looks about fair considering the horse he was beaten a nose by at Redcar (Ordoney) has gone close off 76 since. Cheap Thrills disappointed last time out at Newbury and she may be high enough in the weights, although her previous consistency might suggest that run was just a blip. Kersivay hasn't seemed to really last home at Pontefract and Carlisle of late so this easier test may suit, connections are still searching for the right trip with Doc Jones, whilst Versaki is tumbling down the weights and any market support would look significant. Regeneration seems to run well when the money is down and he has some good experience on an artificial surface, whilst All For You tries the cheek-pieces following a one-paced finish last time out at Epsom. With a rating of 69, the feeling is that Satwa Star (who doesn't have much to find with Regeneration on their Lingfield run) is handicapped to win at some stage this season. An open affair, but Helieorbea is taken to see off all of his rivals.
