The well-regarded Artushof is fancied to be too good for this lot and is selected in preference to Noubian, who races in colours much more associated with more salubrious contests and the Sheik Maktoum Al Maktoum-owned colt has to be respected here. However, the fact that he makes his debut at this level is a little disconcerting and he may be best watched. Rightful Ruler is another to have a look at, as he posted a fair effort on his all weather debut and can go close with a similar effort tonight. Shergael also represents shrewd connections and is certainly bred to do the job. However, he was far from impressive on his debut and the jury is still out with him. Therefore, with al things considered, we return to Artushof as the likeliest contender for the leading honours tonight and he is confidently expected to deliver the goods at only the second time of asking.
