Many of these arrive here on the back of a long all weather campaign and have been running as if they have done enough for the time being. Not so with Little Richard though, who gets the nod over Best Port and Regency Red. That said, any solid support for Charlie Kennet will be very interesting and he is one to note in the betting market now that he is back at a course that suits him well. However, he is hard to win with and needs a little luck on his side here. Best Port has paid his way over the years and should again give a good account of himself. However, there is the suspicion that he is better over slightly further and, as this is only his second start on a Polytrack surface, he has to conclusively prove he handles the underfoot conditions. Regency Red is of modest ability but does have a habit of pulling a good effort out of the hat on occasions. He too is worth keeping tabs on when the betting starts to warm up. Nevertheless, we prefer the claims held by Little Richard, who is becoming a standing dish at this track and will, no doubt, be a very popular winner if he can manage to register a fourth course and distance victory this evening.
