Tony Carroll is noted for meticulous planning with his runners and he looks to have placed Divinsky well in this company, with Old Bailey and Tally appealing as dangers from the remainder who are certain to start. It will also be interesting to note if Samuel Charles makes a quick reappearance after his exertions in winning a much tougher race at Lingfield yesterday. He will be dangerous to ignore if he is allowed to take his chance. However, he is unlikely represent the best value on offer and, as he was all out to hold on near the line, only a saver option is recommended; unless the vibes are exceptionally good from the betting market. Old bailey needs very little introduction to fans of the all weather and he again has solid place claims at this level, sentiments which also apply to Tally, who posted a much better effort on turf at Warwick earlier in the week and he has to be respected. However, it is worth bearing in mind that Divinsky comprehensively had his measure when they met at Lingfield last month and a similar effort from the top horse on the racecard will suffice today. A small saver with Samuel Charles should help cover all angles if he races.
