KINDEST may be able to reverse Nottingham form with Candy Ride whilst Respite is better than he showed last time. Candy Ride looked set to score with something in hand until hanging close home last time but she dug deep when it mattered and managed to hold on. She's certainly heading the right way and is respected but it will be interesting to see how she copes with the forecast faster ground. She meets Chris Wall's runner on 3lbs worse terms for a length and a half and Kindest certainly caught the eye with the way that she made up ground in the final furlong to finish on the heels of the principals. She also has to prove her ability to handle fast ground and it's debateable as to how much improvement she's open to as she moves into handicap company but she's clearly of interest. Respite would have finished closer at Doncaster with a clear run and will attract plenty of attention having chased home Fantasia on debut. It will be disappointing if she can't prove better than her current mark. Sterling Sound is probably best watched given that her yard has yet to prove that it's out of the woods whilst Russian Rave won well at Kempton but has a bit to prove back on grass from a higher mark. A good finish to the card where the market will prove useful but we'll opt for Kindest.
