Richard Hannon's Cultured Pride was narrowly beaten over seven furlongs at Goodwood last week and has claims over a mile today off a 1lb higher mark after that run but he looks booked for a place at best in a race taken to go to CAT HUNTER, who is preferred to Tap Dance Way. The last mentioned is unexposed after just three starts and looks to be reasonably well treated off a mark of 64 for her first start in a handicap so cannot be discounted. Walter Swinburn's Mellifera ran below par at Newmarket two starts ago but ran much better at Salisbury last time and has claims if able to build on that effort. Spiritual Art has improved with each start this term and will be in the shake up if able to improve again from his latest start but a better bet looks to be Cat Hunter, who gets the vote. Amanda Perrett's filly has similarly improved with each outing this term and looks worth siding with having been narrowly beaten at Salisbury last time, especially as she can race off the same mark today.
