    Verdict

As usual at Windsor we have the obligatory tough maiden to sort out and we will side with Day Of Reckoning, Newnham and Neath may provide most danger. Sir Michael Stoute's filly took a while to get the hang of things on her debut here behind Motorway, but when she did get going she stayed on nicely to finish third. There must be a lot more to come and she may also appreciate this easier ground. Newnham looked in need of a longer trip when a staying on second behind Sea Nymph over a mile last time and looks certain to figure in the finish here. Some interesting newcomers are in action including John Gosden's Winslow Homer, but the one that catches the eye on breeding is Amanda Perrett's Neath, a daughter of Rainbow Quest who is related to top class horses Tillerman and Rainwashed Gold. Any market move for this one should be noted, however on this occasion we will stick with experience and plump for Day Of Reckoning.
