GRANNY MCPHEE capped a progressive run of form with a late show to grab victory last time and she could be weighted well enough to follow up so we take that chance while Shy and Screaming Brave are among the leading players. The selection got up in the shadow of the post to nab victory at Brighton and given that she wasn't stopping she might still be fairly treated. Some of her old form also suggests that with the step up in trip likely to be of some use to her. Shy is still a maiden after 14 starts and looked in need of her first run of the season before a solid start when third of 14 at Chepstow last time. She can go better with 2lbs removed from her back and we expect a big run. Screaming Brave showed some fair form on the level last term and will be fit from a relatively successful spell over hurdles while Choral festival can be added to the list after an improved effort last time. This is a tough finale but Granny McPhee can follow up.
