This is tricky with Full Victory selected ahead of Christmas Truce and Sol Rojo. Full Victory's connections have been forced, really, to run him again before reassessment takes place after his easy Chepstow win, and he has to fully respected today, although he has never yet raced on going without ease on it. Jools is well-weighted based on his course and distance win of last June although more recent efforts have not been encouraging. At today's trip, Oakley Absolute might be worth opposing although he has better recent form than a lot of his opponents, Orpen Wide is fairly weighted now based on autumn form, as are course and distance winner Border Edge and Balearic Star based on summer form of 2005 and 2004, respectively. Final Promise is also on a winning mark from last summer, although recent efforts have been modest, Rawaabet and Admiral Compton lack winning form, but Christmas Truce comes here as a recently-improved performer who might get amongst the money. Billy One Punch lacks form, although Robert Winston has been booked to ride, and Sol Rojo is well worth running again under a penalty following his Yarmouth success, and Lockstock and Barton Sands are others to be well-weighted based on 2005 form. It all adds up to a very tricky race in which the tentative vote goes to Full Victory.
