Scented Present, Queen of Narnia and Nordic Light are the three to concentrate on here and the vote is given to Scented Present. The selection did nothing wrong when finishing second behind Hoh Mike at Windsor last time. The front two came well clear of the rest of the field that day and this colt is clearly going the right way and he should prove tough to beat with Frankie Dettori in the plate. Queen Of Narnia rates the main danger as this filly from the Mick Channon yard has shown she does have ability on each of her three starts to date, but she will need to improve to beat our selection. Nordic Light is bred to be better over slightly further but this colt hails from a stable in flying form and if the market were to speak in his favour then he would have to be seriously considered. Peggys Flower is another interesting runner as this filly made a pleasing debut and her stable could not be in better form at present. However, for the winner we are happy to return to Scented Present.
