Joy And Pain looks the one to be with in another competitive handicap with Avenlea, Charlie Bear and Neideen the biggest dangers. The selection is chasing the hat-trick today and he could not have been anymore convincing last time at Yarmouth when he beat Poker Player. He does have a penalty for that success but the visor which has worked so well is on again and he looks up to the task. Avenlea also won well last time but that was over 6f and he has not been as effective over this trip in the past. Charlie Bear did win well at Yarmouth a couple of runs ago but that was his sole career success and he has since disappointed, so the percentage call is to take him on again. Neideen is a lightly-raced filly but she has been off the track since October and may just need the run, so for the winner we are happy to stick with Joy And Pain.
