LABISA and Bea Menace head our short-list from Russian Rave and Cheap Thrills and we'll award one more chance to Labisa. Hughie Morrison's filly is in danger of becoming expensive to follow having returned a beaten favourite on both starts this season. She bumped into a subsequent winner at Nottingham so there was no disgrace in that performance but she had no excuses at Beverley when not appearing to be entirely straightforwards. Bea Menace ran her best race on fast ground on debut and encounters fast ground for the first time since. There should be more to come from her this term and the booking of Jamie Spencer suggests that she could make her presence felt at the first time of asking. Cheap Thrills has her first run on turf and her first over this trip which may suit given that she was outpaced over Kempton's six when last seen. She has possibilities as does Russian Rave following a fine reappearance in a Lingfield handicap which has been boosted by the win of the runner-up at the next time of asking. Cocktail Party is considered, market support for the likes of Feet Of Fury, Pansy Potter or Dark Velvet would bring them into the equation but Labisa gets the nod despite the fact that she may possess wayward tendencies.
