A race featuring representatives from top-stables although unlikely to produce any real stars of the future. However Unscrupulous ran a respectable debut in a very decent maiden first time out and any improvement should see him have a favourite's chance here. Vortex has been disappointing in two starts so far but has to be respected with Sir Michael Stoute's horses always improving over time. Saladim was very disappointing at Carlisle last time and cannot be supported with any real confidence while Gig Harbor has raced in some decent maidens and holds possibilities.
