Comtesse Noire has a good chance of losing her maiden tag here having started to hit form on her last two starts and with her trainer, Ian Balding, starting to fire in the winners. Gifted Flame has been running reasonably in much better company than this and a drop in class now should see him go close. Harry The Beaver remains lightly-raced and has run well on his last two starts so must be respected in this class. Ren's Magic is another running into some sort of form while top-weight Squeaky is consistent and must have a chance of losing her maiden tag.
