In depth

Verdict

A typically wide-open selling handicap featuring a number of disappointing types. Kosmic Lady though bounced back to form with a clear-cut success at Brighton last time and with a guaranteed strong pace here she remains a solid betting proposition in this company. Jarv just seemed to be coming back to form last time out and a drop from handicap company to this selling class could be enough for her to get her head in front. Colonel Kozando is bred to be more effective on dirt but because he is still relatively lightly-raced may be open to more improvement than his rivals. Of the others Welton Arsenal, Chickasaw Trail and Turtle Love also hold each-way hopes.
