Verdict

Storm Sir, Cigalas and Mille Feuille make most appeal on the evidence of the formbook here with the Hills runner selected. Mille Feuille shaped with promise behind a stablemate of the selection on her debut at Goodwood last September but the form of the race is average at best and her chance has been impaired by her high draw. Storm Sir chased home Paco Boy on debut before proving slightly disappointing at Lingfield next time. It's probably worth forgiving his defeat on his seasonal return as it's unlikely that he'd have appreciated the soft ground that day and it will be interesting to see what the market makes of his chance. The selection hails from a yard that saddled a three year-old to win on its seasonal return here last week and his juvenile form gives him leading claims. He was beaten 4 lengths in a maiden on debut that featured the likes of Dream Eater and Moynahan before running a slightly disappointing race in a conditions stakes at Doncaster. He's been given plenty of time and has been found a suitable opening for his first run of this term and Cigalas can make the most of it.
