Jam Packed can follow up at the expense of Cannon Fire and Sparkling Taff, with Algenon best of the rest. Jam Packed needed all of Tony McCoy's urgings to get home at Worcester last time, but that was the five-year-old's first outing for six-months, and he should therefore improve further. In addition the step up in trip will suit this half-brother to staying chaser Shanty Town, and he looks well capable of following up in this class 4 contest. Cannon Fire has yet to score over fences, but had the third horse 19-lengths away when second at Southwell last time, and will break his duck over the bigger obstacles sooner or later. Sparkling Taff was driven out to score over slightly further at Worcester, but at least lines up in some sort of form, while Algenon was somewhat fortunate to say the least when left clear at Newton Abbot last month. He has bottom-weight here though, and a bit more scope than some others, so merits a mention. It is hard to fancy the rest, and Jam Packed is sure to be popular with punters.
