Ossmann gets the call over Kissinthepeach, The Teuchter and Themanfromfraam to name but a few. Although Jonjo O'Neill is represented by Another Jewel here, Tony McCoy rides Ossmann for Tom George, and could well be on board the more likely winner. The gelding has had just seven career starts, and ran his best race yet when runner-up at Worcester last time. Although yet to prove that he likes soft ground, he has the champion on his back to help him round, and is expected to go well. Kissinthepeach is also improving judged on a staying on third at Hexham last time, while The Teuchter found 27-furlongs beyond him at Newton Abbot and so should appreciate this slight drop back in trip. Storm Talk, a past course-and-distance winner, and Themanfromfraam, in the lead when falling three out on his last visit here, are both worth a mention, but we shall remain loyal to Ossmann.
