Verdict

TEA FOR FREE hasn't tackled this trip before but was not stopping when a runaway scorer here just under a month ago over three miles. The handicapper's reaction was to hit the Longsdon inmate with a 13lb punishment no less, but he looks an improved performer and is worth staying with on that recent evidence. The Hollow Ginge was backed into favouritism on his seasonal reappearance at Cheltenham last month but was never a factor and pulled up halfway round. He's dropped to a most attractive mark but is also becoming extremely hard to predict and is best watched for now. Classic Ben stays much further than this and his assured stamina should see him in the mix if he's ready to roll, but recent course and distance winner, Premier D'troice rates the likeliest threat to the selection.
