Verdict

Some interesting types on show with STRONG LEADER (NAP) the preference. The Murphy gelding was an easy winner of a bumper on debut at Warwick and returned to action with an excellent effort at Cheltenham last month when coming home strongly to hunt up the unbeaten Irish raider, Encanto Bruno. The selection was clear of the rest of a more than decent field and looks a useful recruit to the hurdling ranks. Parc D'amour rates a clear danger after impressing on his Doncaster debut in March and is firmly in the 'could be anything' category. He's certainly one to keep an eye on. Similar comments apply to Idealdes Villerets, who was last seen delivering a pleasing effort back on New Year's Day when coming home a decent fourth in a competitive Cheltenham Listed bumper.
