In depth

Verdict

Comber can follow up his Towcester success, with Mister Tibus, Mighty Moose and Tambo perhaps the ones to give him most to do. Former Irish point-to-pointer Comber felt the benefit of a break when opening his account at Towcester just over three weeks ago, and with that run to freshen him up, Henrietta Knight's charge can shrug off a rise to beat his older rivals here, although any rain would be a bonus. Mister Tibus is on a retrieval mission, having fallen at the last when three-lengths clear at Newton Abbot in May, but that was a moderate affair, and he is at a disadvantage fitness-wise with the selection. So too is Mighty Moose who was in good form over fences when last seen at Chepstow in March. He will be going back over the bigger obstacles this winter, as will the veteran Tambo no doubt. Comber has a lot more to offer though, and is the one to side with.
